June 2019 Month-in-Review and Mid-Year-in-Review

After a very hectic May, June provided a more sedate pace.  The rest of the summer should prove even better.  Hopefully two trips to Canada provide plenty of reading time.  I hope to read even more in July and August than I read in May and June.  Sadly, it looks like there will be no summer blog series this year.

June was my fourth-best month ever at Every Day Should Be Tuesday and my fifth-best month ever at Hillbilly Highways.

I published 15 posts in June.  Of those, a respectable 5 book reviews (9 if you count each from my short review roundup).

Finishing 9 books in June facilitated whittling down Mount TBR by 2 books.  Not significant damage, but breaking even for the year is within easy reach this July.

I got a slow reading start to the year, but after a strong May and June I am sitting at 40 books for the year.  A respectable pace, that puts me on target to exceed last year’s mark by a fair margin but still well behind each of the last few years.

After a dip in 2018, my average words per post at Every Day Should Be Tuesday are back up.  Words per post are also up slightly at Hillbilly Highways.  2019 should see the fewest posts at Every Day Should Be Tuesday, if not by a huge margin.

Uh oh, she’s sitting up by herself? Crap, time is moving FAST!

She’s been sitting up (and crawling!) for a while. Should be walking soon. Time really is moving fast.

It’s kind of like seeing gains when you lift weights. Growth here at Every Day Should Be Tuesday has been slow but steady. Hillbilly Highways has been a little more uneven.

  3. Wait. What.

Deadwood the movie is already out???? I LOVED that show, Al Swearengen is one of my all-time favourite TV characters!

Is it on Netflix or any other streaming services? I only have amazon prime atm and don’t think they have it.. at least not the Aussie version -.-
