Reading Update 2016

I read 86 books in 2016.  That was slightly off the 96 books I read in 2015, but still the second most since I started a Goodreads account in 2011.  It’s also somewhat skewed by reading relatively more graphic novels and novellas and less epic fantasy and history–I read fewer pages in 2016 than in either 2012 or 2013.  But it was a busy year, and I’m pretty happy with what I was able to read.  Quality was pretty decent.  Average rating was 3.9 stars, and I rated well over a quarter of the books I read as 5 stars.

Without further adieu, my year in reading, arranged by star, with the caveats that it’s full stars only because that’s all Goodreads accommodates and some star ratings may change for books read but not yet reviewed.
